The new penetration edge enables an extreme and unprecedented increase in productivity to be achieved when working with the NX-NV
DS- and NB-NVDS tools. The patented double-groove
geometry and the Vario twist allow for high delivery rates and are ideal for HPC and HDC milling. A maximum level of productivity is thereby guaranteed. Excellent chip clearing levels enable the tools to achieve optimum process reliability and reproducibility, so that the possibilities for automation can be yet further increased.
The innovative high-performance penetration edge allows just such a high-performance penetration with a helical penetration angle of up to 20°. In components with internal contours, NVDS milling cutters are up to 15 times faster at the working depth than conventional designs!
This opens up entirely new possibilities in terms of bore and circular milling.
